I never knew plants had so much power until I started working at my part time job in college. Apart of my job description included making sure the plants stayed watered and taken care off. Now I'm a country girl, but I'm no Martha Stewart. I could maintain the basics...watering, watering, and... watering! I learned at an early age the importance of photosynthesis & plants need for water and sunlight to grow. So thats what I did... gave it water and plenty of sunlight.
I had placed the plant in store window so it could get its necessary sunlight, and also for decoration purposes. I watered and took care of this plant for weeks, weeks, and MORE weeks. It never grew, the leaves were always droopy, and I swept so many dead leaves I had a mini dirt pile! After awhile of no improvement, I placed the plant in the corner of the store. I watered it the same, groomed it the same, but this time...
IT GREW. I ended up finding out the plant only grew in low light settings, and had been over exposed.
Just like this plant...people find themselves in certain places or situations and cant grow. What you think may be the best, ends up being the opposite. Sometimes its beneficial to take yourself out your current situation, so you can grow and flourish elsewhere!
